The St. Brigid School elementary program highlights instruction in Religion, English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Cursive Handwriting, and Spanish.
Our teachers differentiate instruction as needed to ensure students succeed in meeting benchmarks in the different aspects of the program. Examples include leveled readers, modified spelling lists, assistive technology programs, and math groups.
With an inquiry-based program, reflective opportunities, collaborative learning, and digital-based supplements, we engage students and provide activities that enhance their learning. Technology is integrated into the classroom at the teachers' discretion. Chromebooks are available for teachers and students to use as needed.
To guide students in their development toward becoming competent, confident, and prepared people, time management skills are taught early on and continue through middle school by way of using a planner. Expectations for respect and the modeling of values such as kindness, understanding, and service to others are prevalent in daily life at St. Brigid School.
Students well being is supported through regular practice of our Faith, weekly gym class, and mindfulness activities. Our teachers build relationships with their students, and between their students to help shape and form our vibrant community.
